Engagement Model Differences
Fixed Cost: A fixed-price project agreement. You (the client) provide complete specifications for your project upfront. The developers then deliver the project based on those specifications for a pre-agreed, fixed cost. This works well for well-defined projects with clear requirements, such as simple website design or redesigns. It’s not a good fit for large, complex projects with evolving requirements.
Hourly Based: This model is best when the project’s scope (strategy, specifications, and requirements) is clearly defined before work begins. If the project is more flexible and likely to change (like website updates, maintenance, debugging, or research), an hourly-based model (where you pay for the actual hours worked, and the total cost can vary) is recommended instead.
Dedicated: This business model offers you a dedicated team that works exclusively on your project. You pay a fixed monthly fee for their services, ensuring the project is completed within the agreed timeframe.
